Donald E. Drudge, 90, of Goshen, died Sunday afternoon, January 6, 2008 at his home. He was born in Bippus, Indiana, on March 23, 1917, to Levi and Dottie (Dilman) Drudge. He married Mary Jane Mishler on August 10, 1941, in Delphi, Indiana. She survives. A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Drudge worked for Goshen Cushion for 30 years and attended the Grace Methodist Church in New Paris. A World War II veteran, Mr. Drudge fought with the Army Infantry in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe earning five bronze stars. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; a daughter, Connie (Kenneth) Andrews of South Bend. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Busenburg, Edith Adams and Iona Hively; and five brothers, Wilbur, Alfred, Roy, Carl and Delford Drudge. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 10, 2008, funeral service will be held at the funeral home. Rev. Bob Nelson of the Grace Methodist Church, New Paris will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Methodist Church or Donor’s Choice.
