Dolores Mae Hartzler

Dolores Mae Hartzler, 81, of Syracuse, died early Monday morning, June 27, 2016 at Waterford Crossing.  She had been in failing health since December 2015.

She was born June 4, 1935 in Goshen to Volney George and Hazel Marie (Lewallen) Kammerdiener.

On December 30, 1954 she married John Samuel Hartzler in Syracuse.  He died February 25, 2016.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Roger) Bertram of Cromwell; two sons, Daniel Jay (Melanie) Hartzler of New Paris and David Lee Hartzler of Millersburg; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ralph Dewight (Doris) Kammerdiener and Lloyd Earl (Lucille) Kammerdiener, both of Syracuse.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Friends may call Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 2 until the 3 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Glenda Woodcox of Solomon Creek United Methodist Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Solomon Creek Cemetery, Syracuse.
