Diane Fay Roe

Diane Fay Roe, 61, of Topeka, died Monday, December 21, 2020, at Goshen Hospital.

She was born October 6, 1959 in Goshen to Arthur L. and Gladys Marie (Troyer) Christner.

Diane is survived by a daughter, Kala (Cody) Yoder of Topeka; two grandchildren, Lilli and Coleman Yoder; a sister, Donna (Todd) Bontrager and three brothers, Chuck (Dawn) Christner, Dean (Tammy) Christner and Don (Tina) Christner.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Christner.

Diane worked for the Westview Schools as a paraprofessional in many different classes and was known as the “Math Queen” and requested to help in many math classes.  She also drove bus for 30 years in addition to driving and helping with many sporting events.

She was a very active member of New Life Fellowship, Topeka.

Visitation will be “Open House” style, Saturday, December 26, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 12, noon and 4 to 8 p.m. at New Life Fellowship, 2755 South State Road 5, Topeka.

A 1 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2020, funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Drew Ryall.  A link to the virtual service will be available on the church’s Facebook page.

A private, family burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka.

Memorial donations may be given to New Life Fellowship to help children in need.
