Diane R. Benton

Diane R. Benton, 67, of Goshen, died early Wednesday afternoon, June 27, 2007 at The Maples at Waterford, after a nine month illness.  She was born in Goshen on November 20, 1939, to Robert and Jane (LaRue) Garringer.    Ms. Benton worked as a nurse at Goshen General Hospital and Elkhart General Hospital.   She is survived by a daughter, Debra Benton of Goshen; two sons, Dave Benton of Goshen and Robert G. Benton of Cape Coral, Florida; four grandchildren; and a sister, Marcia Burnham of VanWert, Ohio.   A graveside service will be held on  Monday, July 9, 2007, at 2:00 p.m.  Omer Nisley of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Goshen, will officiate.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
