Diana E. Straub

Diana E. Straub, 95, of Goshen, died Saturday evening, June 24, 2006, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born May 5, 1911, in Linton, Indiana, to Ora D. and Mayme E. (Hossey) Clayton.  On October 6, 1935, in Greene County, Indiana, she married Louis H. Straub.  He died July 30, 1987. A 1929 graduate of Shelburn High School, Sullivan County, Indiana, she attended theLaura Kindig School of Nursing.  She was a member of the H.H.C. Social Club of Goshen, and the Bobby Jones Golf Club in Sarasota, Florida, where she moved in 1975 and lived for a number of years. Mrs. Straub retired in 1971 from Goshen Hospital where she worked in admitting for 25 years. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy A. (Tom) Marquis of Sarasota, Florida and Myrna Beachy of Goshen; a son, Chuck Straub of Wonewoc, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial of cremains will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
