Derek Paul Hicks

Derek Paul Hicks, 24, of Goshen, died Monday evening, April 2, 2007.   He was born in Goshen on January 22, 1983.  He had lived in Goshen all of his life.   He is survived by his father, Phil Hicks of Goshen; his mother, Sue (Charles) Weiderman of Middlebury; four sisters, Susan Weiderman and Sonya Imus, both of Middlebury, Shyla Borem of Goshen and Shanda Null of Elkhart; a brother, Micah Hicks of Goshen; and grandparents, Arthur and Phyllis Hicks of Goshen.   He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.   Friends will be received 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 6, at the funeral home.  A 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.    Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
