Dennis Dewayne Robarge

Dennis DeWayne Robarge, 64, of Goshen, died Monday, July 13, 2009, at Goshen General Hospital, following a nine month illness. He was born June 9, 1945, in Bryan, Ohio, to Irvin and Kathleen (Stotz) Robarge.  He married Kathy Ball on June 29, 1974, in Kimmell.  She survives. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, he served with the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1974 as a medical technician. He was honorably discharged in 1974. Mr. Robarge was employed in customer service at Miles Laboratories for 21 years.  He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Goshen and Kiwanis Sunrisers Club where he was named 2008 Kiwanian of the Year. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his mother, Kathleen Robarge of Bryan; a son, Jason (Tami) Robarge of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mandy Robarge (and special friend, Jason Antolovich) of Cincinatti, Ohio; a granddaughter, Sophia; a brother, Wilbur (Patti) Robarge of Greentown, Indiana; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. The body will be cremated and friends may call 4-8 p.m., Friday, July 17, at Yoder-Culp and 10-11 a.m., Saturday, July 18, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 11 a.m., at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. A private committal service will be in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church or Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
