Dennis L. Bender

Dennis L. Bender, 55, of Goshen, died Monday afternoon, January 4, 2010, at his home.  He had been ill the last six months. He was born on March 1, 1954, in Goshen, to the late Gordon and Jacquelyn “Jacie” (Secor) Bender.  He had lived in Syracuse the last 20 years.  He worked at Commodore Homes for 20 years. He is survived by two daughters, Ann (Joe) Littlejohn and Denise (Justin) Beach, both of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Kristen Ratliff of Elkhart, Steven Ratliff and Siera Littlejohn both of Syracuse, and Joe Littlejohn of Warsaw,; and two brothers, David W. Bender and Doug (Ann) Bender, both of Goshen. Friends may call 12 to 2 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 2:00 p.m., funeral service will be conducted.  Pastor Lenny Krebs of the Benton Free Baptist Church will officiate. A private family burial will be at a later date in Benton Lutheran Cemetery.
