Demarus "Demy" Kelly

Demarus “Demy” Kelly, 70, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at IU Health Goshen Hospital.  She was born on November 20, 1940, in Indianapolis, to the late Edwin and Helen (Holmes) Black.  She married Ronald Kelly on June 16, 1956 in Indianapolis.  He survives.  Mrs. Kelly was an insurance agent and a part owner of Imperial Industries.  She was well known for her love of family, butterflies, and her devotion to God.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen.  She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Louis) McKibbin, Goshen, Susan (Jay) Warstler, New Paris; one son, Randy Kelly, Goshen; one brother, Ed (Frieda) Black, Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sue Hoover.  Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, April 25, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen.  Rev. Father Christopher Smith will officiate.     Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Indiana Chapter.
