Deloris J. Eaton, 86, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, February 13, 2010, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana. She moved to Terre Haute in 2008 after spending most of her life in the Goshen area. She was born in Benton, Indiana to the late William and Ruth (Strine) Wysong, on December 19, 1923. A 1941 graduate of Goshen High School and a member of Jefferson Brethren Church, Goshen, Mrs. Eaton retired from Wilts Food Center as Head Cashier, in 1988. She is survived by three daughters, Vicky Eaton, Jill (Melvin) Cheesman, both of Terre Haute, Debra (Donald) Trippel, Woodlawn, Virginia; one son, Jeffrey Eaton, Terre Haute; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Aimee Trippel. She was preceded by two sisters in death, Maxine Wert, Harriet Wysong; and three brothers, Winford, Burdette, and Mervin Wysong. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 17, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Ron Spyker, of the Jefferson Brethren Church, is officiating. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made out to the American Red Cross.
