Delores Garber, 93, of Goshen died Monday, March 22, 2021 at Waterford Crossing Health Campus.
She was born September 14, 1927 in Goshen to Curtis and Anna (Honderich) Pletcher.
On December 24, 1946 she married Lamar Garber in Goshen. He died October 13, 2011.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean (Larry) Cripe of Goshen; three sons, Lyle (Connie) Garber of Goshen, Kermit (Debra) Garber of New Paris and Kevin (Cheryl) Garber of Crossville, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy (David) Miller; a sister, Fern Ingold; and a brother, Alvin Pletcher.
Mrs. Garber was a 50-year member of the Clintonettes Home Economics Club. Delores worked at Goshen Rubber for 13 years, Kirt’s Cleaners and was a teacher’s aide at Fairfield Community Schools. She enjoyed vegetable gardening and being with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, March 26, 2021 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Her grandson, Rev. Scott Miller, Pathway Church, Middlebury, will officiate.
Burial will follow at Clinton Brick Cemetery, Goshen.
