Della E. Rarick

Della E. Rarick, 98, formerly of Goshen, died early Sunday evening, September 3, 2006, at the Lakeland Rehabilitation Center, Milford.   She was born in Sidney, Ohio, on November 8, 1907, to Oliver O. and Elizabeth (Clark) Butler.  On November 8, 1925, in Muncie, she married Wayman L. Rarick.  He died February 22, 1989.   A Goshen homemaker since 1925, Mrs. Rarick, also worked as an egg candler for both Shankerman Bros. of Mishawaka and Harve Corbin.   A member of the Goshen City Church of the Brethren, she is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Robert) Cotherman of Goshen; a son, Lowell E. (Myrna) Rarick of Bremen; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayman; two sister, Hazel Poling and Mabel Craig and two brothers, Orville and Herman Butler.   Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2006, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Yvonne Riege of Goshen City Church of the Brethren will officiate.   Burial will be in Milford Cemetery, Milford, Indiana.   Memorial contributions may be designated to the Goshen City Church of the Brethren.
