Delilah May Wolferman, 93, passed away Monday afternoon, May 18, 2009, at Golden Living Center of Elkhart. She was born to Milton and Elizabeth (Stump) Miller in Nappanee, Indiana, on May 7, 1916. She married Raymond E. Wolferman on July 7, 1932. Both he and her parents preceded her in death. Delilah had lived in several places including New Paris, Milford, Columbia City, Elkhart, and North Fort Myers, Florida. She attended New Paris High School and was a restaurant cook, having worked many years at 20th Century Restaurant of Milford. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. She received her CNA certificate at age 61. She most enjoyed door to door ministry and her grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Damron of Elkhart and Lenna Traylor of Columbia City, Indiana; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Eby, in February of 2002 and three sisters, Marjorie Troup, Thelma Miller, and Mary Bender. Friends may call one hour prior to the 1:30 p.m., June 6, 2009, memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Elder Scott Shafer of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall of Goshen will be officiating. The body will be cremated and burial will be at Union Center Cemetery of Nappanee, Indiana, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to www.wheelchairhelp.org
