Delbert J. Gingerich, 95, of Goshen, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
He was born July 21, 1927, in Buda, Illinois to Albert and Josephine (Miller) Gingerich.
On September 21, 1947, he married Joreen J. Behnke in Tiskilwa, Illinois. She died August 17, 2019.
Mr. Gingerich is survived by three children, Patricia (Ronald) Yoder, Janice (David) Stutsman and Donald (Sharon) Gingerich, all of Goshen; five grandchildren, Jackie (Paul) Gruet of Goshen, Reneé (David) Buck of Ellicott, Maryland, Stephanie (Chris) Edmond of Goshen, Craig (Tara) Yoder of Wakarusa and Erica (Patrick) Siegel of Indianapolis; 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and William Gingerich.
A longtime Goshen resident, Mr. Gingerich owned and operated a lawn service business. He was a member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 10 until 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Matt Maloney will officiate.
Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Memorial donations may be given to Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church for their Children’s Ministry.
