Deelora "Dee" L. Glassman

DeeLora “Dee” L. Glassman, 53, of Goshen, died Wednesday evening, August 16, 2006, at Americare of Goshen where she had been a patient for a year.  She had been ill since 2000.   She was born June 10, 1953, in Goshen, to Donald H. and Mildred J. (Miller) Smith.  She worked as an assembler and packer for Dwyer Instruments, Inc., in Wakarusa.   A 1972 Goshen High School graduate, Mrs. Glassman attended Grace Community Church.  She enjoyed camping, cross stitching and knitting.   Mrs. Glassman is survived by a son, Matthew R. Glassman of Goshen and three brothers, Warren E. (Bonnie) Stahly of Seymour, Tennessee, and Robert A. (Esther) Stahly and Charles R. (Donna) Stahly, both of Goshen.   She was preceded in death by her parents and Donlyn K. Davis.   Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 18, at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor John Drexler of the First Brethren Church, Goshen will officiate.   Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery.   Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
