Debra L. Snooks

Debra L. Snooks, 77 of Syracuse died Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Stillwater Hospice House, Fort Wayne.

She was born in South Bend, Indiana November 1, 1948 to Thomas and Maxine (Hanes) Hayes. They preceded her in death along with her husband, David R. Snooks, and a brother, Thomas Hayes Jr..

Survivors include a sister, Rita (Tom) Madden, Indianapolis, brother, James Hayes, Indianapolis, sister-in- law, Becky Hayes, Warsaw and and an uncle, Ralph Hanes, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Debra worked in manufacturing for most of her life. After retirement she enjoyed more time with family. Her hobbies included bingo, bowling and crocheting and spending time with her dogs.

Private family services are being handled through Yoder- Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
