Debra Shrock

Debra Shrock, 70, of Goshen, died on January 2, 2026. She was born November 27, 1955, in Goshen, Indiana, to Lloyd and Mary Jean (Schrock) Brandenberger.

Debra was united in marriage to Leon Shrock on April 20, 1985, at Clinton Frame Church.

She is survived by her siblings, Steve (Cathy) Brandenberger, Jeanne Brandenberger, and Joan (Bruce) Peterson; along with many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Debra treasured time spent with family, especially her nieces and nephews and their children. She also held dear two close-knit groups of three friends who felt more like sisters, gathering faithfully each month. Debra found joy in simple pleasures particularly making her special get well meal of cinnamon Jell-O and tater tot casserole. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds as well as tending to her gardens and cake decorating when she was younger. She enjoyed sister weekends, had a fondness for lighthouses, and especially cherished her trips to Door County, Wisconsin, where she found peace and rest. She loved to sing in church and was always quick to remind others that the singing should have “no dragging.”

Visitation will be held Friday, January 16, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Clinton Frame Church, where a memorial service will take place Saturday, January 17, at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Clinton Frame Church Brotherhood Fund or Samaritan’s Purse.
