Debra S. Hanson

Debra S. Hanson, 66, of Elkhart, died Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Elkhart Hospice House after a 16 month battle with brain cancer.

She was born May 11, 1952 in Goshen to Frank and Geraldine “Gerry” (Rosenberg) Rensberger.

On March 11, 1972 she married Jim Hanson in Goshen.  He survives.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Connie Smith.

She graduated from Goshen High School in 1970.  An aerobics instructor at the Goshen YWCA for 10 years, Deb enjoyed playing tennis, music and joyriding.

A Wednesday, July 11, 2018, funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Family friend, Pat Martin, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
