Debra Suzanne Grant

Debra Suzanne Grant, 62, of Goshen, passed away, surrounded by family, Saturday, July 1, 2023, at home after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born October 6, 1960 in Elkhart to Joe R. and Dorothy (Ott) Plummer.

On August 30, 1985, she married Kim Grant.

He survives along with three children Summer (fiancé John Gilbert) of Goshen, Mike (Joanne) Plummer of Warsaw and Kerry Grant of Goshen; three grandchildren, Charlie, Breanne and Michaela; a great-granddaughter, Paisley and four siblings, Kim (Jim)Butler and Jean (Steve) Gaffer, both of Goshen, Joe (April) Plummer of Elkhart and June Huntzinger of Minot, North Dakota.

Debra grew up in Ocala, Florida and attended Vanguard High School.  Along with her husband, she co-owned Custom Woodcraft.  She enjoyed working with wood and through their business, relished making furniture with Kim.

Debra loved to travel, especially Orlando with the family and Las Vegas with her husband.  Family was an important part of her life and she treasured time playing games, traveling and hanging out with her children and grandchildren.

An avid Panda lover, Debra also enjoyed reading historical romance books and watching the Hallmark channel.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 11 to 12, noon at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A 12 p.m., Friday funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home.  Pastor Terry Tyler will officiate.

Cremation will follow the service.

Memorial donations may be given to Goshen Cancer Center or World Wildlife Fund.
