Deborah S. Troyer, 69, of Goshen, died Friday, October 16, 2020, at Goshen Hospital after a 20-year battle with Scleroderma.

She was born October 20, 1950 in Goshen to Alvin and Katherine (Lepley) Swihart.

On February 14, 1970 she married Eldon Troyer in New Paris.

He survives along with two children, Jeff (Candy) Troyer of Millersburg and Kim (Aaron) Rink of Goshen; two grandchildren, Leah and Addison Rink; a step-grandson, Matthew Holland and two sisters, Phyllis Whirledge and Kenlyn Haack, both of Goshen.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dora Cripe and Marilyn Yoder.

A 1968 graduate of New Paris High School, Deb was active in the Elkhart County 4-H Fair.  She was a member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church and worked in admitting at the Goshen Center for Cancer Care.

Deb was a strong woman of faith who loved her family and friends and was welcoming to all.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2020, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.  Pastor Matt Maloney will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rock Run Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Scleroderma Foundation, 23999 Telegraph Road, Southfield, MI 48033 or Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.
