Deborah Kay South

Deborah K. South, 63, died Tuesday, April 30 at Goshen Hospital.

She was born July 2, 1955 in Lafayette to the late Harry and Betty (Griffin) Riley.

On Nov. 27, 1977, she married Mark Edward South at the First Baptist Church of Goshen. He died Sept. 30, 2007.

She is survived by children, Nathaniel South, Mishawaka, Dale (Nicole) South, Henderson, Nevada and Sarah (Daniel) Marshall, Goshen; six grandchildren; and sisters, Cindy (Mike) Ritter, Fremont and Karen (Craig) Sears, Elkhart.

Deborah was a critical care secretary at Elkhart General Hospital for 27 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Elkhart and loved quilting.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 5 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Violett Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
