Dean L. Neterer

Dean L. Neterer, 76, of Goshen, died Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.

He was born April 3, 1943 in Goshen to Paul and Mabel (Ganger) Neterer.

He is survived by his wife, Marge Leach; a daughter, Kim (Bobby) Bays; a son, Chris Neterer; a step-daughter, Natalie Leach and a sister, Janet (Max) Paul, all of Goshen.

Dean was an Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department deputy and following retirement worked for the Elkhart County Highway Department and at Violett Cemetery.

He served with the U.S. Army for two years as a radio operator, stationed in South Korea.

Dean graduated from Goshen High School and attended New Paris Church of the Brethren.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Stan Godfrey will officiate.

Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial gifts may be given to New Paris Church of the Brethren.
