Dean Ray Miller

Dean R. Miller, 60, of Goshen, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Greencroft Healthcare surrounded by family and friends.

He was born May 12, 1957 in Goshen to Roscoe R. and Rachel (Ott) Miller.

Survivors include stepmother, Helen (Fry) Miller of New Paris; children, Nicole (Mathew Rathke) Miller and Anthony Miller, both of Elkhart; and two siblings, Dale (Darlene) Miller of Goshen and Amber Miller of Joliet, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Dan, Debby and Angela Miller.

A cabinet maker, Dean loved dogs, motorcycles, woodworking, Notre Dame football and outdoor activities like hunting and fishing.  He was an endlessly loving father who was creative, encouraging and generous.  He will be greatly missed but has found peace in being reunited with his father, brother and sisters.

A 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017, memorial service will be held at The Meetinghouse on Goshen Greencroft campus.  Visitation will follow the service until 5 p.m.

Burial will be at a later date in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery.
