Dean Leroy Maust, Sr.

Dean LeRoy Maust, Sr., 69, of Goshen, died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at home.

He was born March 4, 1950 in Foraker to Edward Kaufman and Dorothy Pauline (Drake) Maust.

He is survived by his children, Eve Marie Aguayo of Elkhart, Dean LeRoy Maust II of Michigan City, John (Marlene) Maust of Goshen, Paul (Rebecca) Maust of Bronson, Michigan, Diana Jean (Scott) Harshberger and Mindy Cypert, both of Goshen; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; first wife, Vera Jean (Bloss) Maust of Fremont and siblings, Dale (Sue) Maust of Wakarusa, Doris “Dee” (Brad) Strycker of Goshen and Dorene “Lynn” (Richard) Roderick of Madison, Maine.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Linda (Simmons) Maust.

Dean graduated from Garden Groves High School in 1968 and served with BVS from 1970 -71.  He retired from Coachman as a cabinet maker and installer but had also worked at Fabwell, A.A. Gage and Stoutco.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing in his backyard pond and working on vehicles.  He was part of a CB Radio Club.

Visitation will be Friday, December 20, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 6:30 p.m. funeral service will be conducted.
