Dean Raymond Alpers

Dean Raymond Alpers, aged 73, of Oak Forest, IL, passed away on March 19, 2025, in Goshen, IN.

Born on September 29, 1951, Dean dedicated many years to his profession as a semi-truck tire repairman. He was the proud owner of his own tire repair business before transitioning to work at Stony Tire.

Dean is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Amanda (Wayne) Bilbrey and Melissa Brazier; his grandchildren, Ryan Brazier, Addison Brazier, Tyler Bilbrey, and Liam Bilbrey. He leaves behind his sisters, Peggy Drew, Susan (David) Goacher, and Nanci (Ala) Shalabi, along with in-laws Lois Alpers, Toni (Larry) Hensel, Mike (Renee) Callahan, and Darlene (Joseph) Depasquale. His life was also enriched by many nieces and nephews.

Dean was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paula Alpers; his parents, Aileen and Paul Alpers; his brother, Donald Alpers; and in-laws, Jim and Ruby Callahan, Bob Drew, and John Camadeca.

Dean, an alumnus of Bremen High School, was deeply respected in his field and cherished by his colleagues and clients alike. As we remember Dean, we reflect on a life well-lived and well-loved. His memory will forever hold a place in the hearts of his family and friends.
