David Ray Yoder, 41, of Goshen, died unexpectedly at his home from an apparent heart attack on February 23, 2007. He was born in Goshen on December 27, 1965, to Amos and Goldie (Miller) Yoder. A lifelong resident of the area, he worked for Gulf Stream. He attended Fairfield High School and was involved in sports. He was a car enthusiast and very mechanically inclined. He is survived by his parents, Amos and Goldie Yoder of Millersburg; two daughters, Danielle and Diedra; a sister, Joan Yoder of Wakarusa; and two brothers, Carl (Connie) Yoder of Millersburg and Ralph (Bonnie) Yoder of Bloomfield, New Mexico. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, Goshen. A 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2007, funeral service will be held at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church. Rev. Terry Diener and Rev. Jeff Mumaw will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Frame Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
