David Lee Wilson, 86, of Goshen, died Monday, December 31, 2018, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
He was born May 11, 1932 in Sturgis, Michigan to Claude J. and Florence M. (Schweder) Wilson.
On June 16, 1956 he married Bonnie C. Ransom in South Haven, Michigan. She died February 21, 2018.
Survivors include three children, Douglas (Jo-Anne) Wilson of Goshen, Cheri (Carson) Reid of Guelph, Ontario, Canada and Debra (Bill) Egger of Cookeville, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, Brad Wilson, Heather Wilson, Stephanie Davis, Courtney Swanson, Danielle Curran, Michelle McKerrow, Jared Egger, Spencer Reid and Austin Egger; and six great-grandchildren, Aaron, Amber, Claire, Grant, Victoria and Aubrey.
Along with his parents and wife, David was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jimmy and Phillip Wilson.
A Goshen resident since 1962, Mr. Wilson worked first as purchasing manager for ILS Patrick and later owning and operating DB Wilson & Associates for 11 years prior to retirement.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 6, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 4:30 funeral service will be conducted.
Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Monday, January 7, with family and friends gathering at 9:45 a.m., at Yoder-Culp to go in procession for the graveside service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Harbor Light Hospice.
