David James Whitehead

David J. Whitehead, Goshen, 64, died Thursday, June 20, 2024 at home on hospice.

He was born October 3, 1959 in Goshen.

On March 19, 1988 he married Kimberly Wagoner in Goshen.

She survives along with a son, Alexander Whitehead, Mishawaka; brothers, Bradley (Jewell) Whitehead and nephew, Tyler Whitehead, both of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and his father, Charles P. Whitehead, Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Ann (Bare) Whitehead.

David attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Mr. Whitehead was a senior designer at Symmetry Medical in Warsaw, designing and manufacturing medical instruments for more than 30 years.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, and Friday, June 28 from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10 a.m.

Cremation will take place after services with burial at Violett Cemetery at a later date.
