David B. Puro

David B. Puro, 70 of Goshen died Thursday, February 9, 2023 at home of natural causes.

He was born July 3, 1952 in Goshen to Onnie and Shirley (Ridenour) Puro. They preceded him in death.

Survivors include two brothers, Mike (Laurie) Puro of Goshen and Timothy (Victoria) Puro of Bloomington; nephews, Eric Puro and Matthew Puro; a niece, Jennifer Brown; and caretaker, Lisa Wesseler.

He was a 1970 graduate of Goshen High School where he was part of the sectional winning basketball team. He also enjoyed playing softball. David received his bachelor’s degree in history from Ball State University. He worked as a county assessor, and also served on the Goshen City Council for one term.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Febraury 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to go the Violett Cemetery for a graveside service.
