David W. Price

David W. Price, 42, of Goshen died Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Goshen Hospital after a one-week illness.

He was born October 5, 1978 in Goshen.

He is survived by his parents, Wayne A. and Betty (Christner) Price of Leesburg; daughter, Alexis Price of Knox; siblings, Gary (Melissa) Price and April Price, both of Goshen; nieces and nephews, Kayla Wozniak, Britteny Knight, Jordan Carroll and Gage Carroll; maternal uncle, Chuck Christner; paternal aunts and uncles, Judy (Ernie) Davis, Goshen, Becky (Ed) Wixson, Elkhart, John (Staci) Price, Goshen, JoAnna (Rich Mullins) Price, Elkhart, Jim (Cheryl) Price, Georgia, Terry (Paula) Price, Middlebury, and Tim (Lawanna) Price, Elkhart; and a number of cousins; and maternal cousins, Tina, Ed, Jeremy and Carley Christner and Eric Hodges.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Maxine Christner and John and Alberta Price and uncles, Leon Christner, Harold K. Smith and Larry Price.

A life-time area resident, David was a hardworking, talented mechanic, who enjoyed working on all types of vehicles. He was a regular at New Paris Speedway, known as “hitman David Price”, who always looked forward to “Nights of Destruction” at the track. He will be greatly missed by all.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  No other service is planned at this time.
