David Kent Miller

David Kent Miller, 62, of Goshen, died of natural causes Tuesday, October 8, 2013, in Iuka, Mississippi. He was born November 3, 1950 in Elkhart to Kenneth L. and Erma (Metzler) Miller. He married Linda Collins July 12, 2002. She survives along with five children, Benjamin (Courtney) Miller of Elkhart, Angela (Scott) Herman of St. Louis, Missouri, Karla (Sheamus) Clarke of Kendallville, Kelli (Steve) Squires of Goshen, and Karri Morgan of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; a brother, Dennis (Linda) Miller of LaPorte and a sister, Judy (Steve) Estep of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his parents. He graduated in 1969 from Elkhart High School and 1973 from Purdue with a BA in business. He was a proud owner and operator of ABC Marketing in Elkhart for 30 years. Dave was dedicated to serving his employees, vendors, and customers. An avid golfer, he was a member of Bent Oak Country Club. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 1 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013, funeral service will be conducted. Rev. Jeff Estep, New Paris First Brethren Church, will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Riley Children's Hospital.
