David Scott Meade

David Scott Meade, 48, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 in Whittier, California, from complications from cancer. A 1980 graduate of Wawasee High School, he was employed as Production Manager for U.S. Polymers Inc. in Montebello, California.  Golf and basketball (UK Wildcats) were his sporting passions. He is survived by his mother, Virginia McKee Anderson, Syracuse; his father, H. Gene (Karen) Meade, Goshen; a brother, Jeffrey (Becky) Meade, Goshen; a grandmother, Virginia Rensberger Folker, Goshen; a step-sister, Kim (Chad) DeHaven, Goshen; two sons, Joshua D. Meade, Indianapolis and Nathaniel S. Meade, Goshen; two daughters, Krista L. Meade, Bloomington, and Jessica L. Meade, Goshen; a grandson, Skylar Scott Meade, Goshen; dear companion, Kim Riley, Whittier, Calif., and many loving aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins in the Goshen and Pikeville, Ken., areas. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 2:00 p.m., memorial service will be conducted with Rev. Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
