David M. Lantz

David Michael Lantz, 72 of Ligonier, passed away peacefully Friday, July 19, at Goshen Hospital.

Dave was born November 21, 1951 in LaGrange to Harold D. and Cleo Mae (Hershberger) Lantz.

Dave is survived by his siblings Linda Santos, Cynthia Simmons, Steven (Janet) Lantz, all of Goshen, and John (Michelle) Lantz of Ligonier; half-siblings, Brenda (Richard) Donat and Samuel Lantz, both of Topeka; step-siblings, Sharon Mast of Topeka and Elmer (Kassie) Mast of Shipshewana.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Cleo Lantz, stepmother Sarah Lantz, and step-sister Diane Mast.

Dave loved reliving the good old days through music, basketball, and spending time with friends and family. He worked for Jayco and L&W Engineering for many years and started transporting Amish families in 1994 where he made many new friends and enjoyed traveling around the country. One of his great joys was sharing his traveling adventures with all who came in contact with him.

Visitation will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen Sunday, July 28 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday, July 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to begin at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Townline Cemetery in Shipshewana.
