David Lee Hartzler

David Lee Hartzler, age 54, of Millersburg, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was born November 4, 1965 in Goshen, to John and Dolores (Kammerdiener) Hartzler. David worked as an Accountant for Veada Industries in New Paris. Mr. Hartzler was a member of Solomon Creek United Methodist Church, where he was very involved in the church. He held many different positions, including Sunday School Superintendent. He was a leader of the 4-H photography club, and he is known best for his involvement in Fairfied High School activities, where he photographed sporting events, graduation photos, and prom photos.

David is survived by his siblings, Linda (Roger) Bertram, Cromwell, and Daniel (Melanie) Hartzler, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24,  2019 from 2:30-7:30 p.m. at Grace Community Church in Goshen. The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 25, at 10 a.m., also at the church. Glenda Woodcox from Solomon Creek United Methodist Church, and Jim Brown from Grace Community Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Solomon Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Fairfield Athletics or Solomon Creek United Methodist Church.
