David D. Fox, 75, died on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Greencroft Healthcare.
He was born on March 23, 1950 in Goshen to Donald R. and Joy (Dausman) Fox.
On August 16, 1975 he married Betty Lechlitner in Nappanee.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years, Betty Fox, two children, Angela Swartzendruber of Goshen, Matthew (Corrie) Fox of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Cal Swartzendruber, Ana (Dylan) Childs and Olivia Fox; and nieces and nephews, Elaine (John) DiRico, Valerie (Dirk) Rader and Steven Faurote.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Norma Faurote.
He graduated from Milford High School in 1968 and obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1973 from Indiana Central College.
David was a high school social studies teacher before joining The Papers as an advertising sales associate. He attended People’s Bible Church.
David Fox, WA9MZW (SK), was an avid ham radio operator, who took great pride in connecting missionaries with their families overseas. He also enjoyed traveling.
Visitation will take place at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Monday, January 5, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 6 from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service also at the funeral home. Pastor John Randolph will officiate.
Burial will follow at New Paris Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to People’s Bible Church.
