David William Eveler, 72, of Goshen, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away, falling Asleep in Jesus on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 at his home.
He was born July 29, 1944 in York, Pennsylvania to Stanley and Alvia (VanTassel) Eveler.
On May 17, 1964 he married Carole Ness in York. She died July 19, 2008.
Survivors include a daughter, Ginger Minnis of Goshen; two sons, Randy (Kim) Eveler of Granger and Mark (Tonya) Eveler of Goshen; nine grandchildren, Ana (Nick) McIntyre, Cody (Mary) Minnis, Ryan and Sara Eveler, Kaitlin Minnis, Owen Eveler, Austin Minnis, Oliver and Sidney Eveler; two great grandchildren, Grayson and Gavin Minnis; four sisters, Urith (Dave) Dell, Rebecca Millar, Janice (Douglas) Leister and Jennifer (Robert) Fabie, all of Pennsylvania; and five brothers, Douglas (Dodie) Eveler, Lynn (Sue) Eveler, Stanley (Rita) Eveler, Steven (Fran) Eveler and Timothy (Sharon) Eveler, all of Pennsylvania.
Dave was a production supervisor working for Duplex Products for more than 30 years here and in Pennsylvania before retiring from Tower Ribbons. He was a loyal supporter of Boy Scouts of America. He was a 1962 graduate of Dallas Town High School, Dallas Town, Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A Thursday, September 22, 2016 funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Bryan Borger, St. Peter Lutheran Church, Mishawaka, will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
