Elnora
David A. Bontrager, 74, of Elnora and formerly of Goshen, died Sunday, Feb. 24, at I.U. Health Hospice House, Bloomington.
He was born August 5, 1944 in Goshen to Alvin G. and Ardene (Clark) Bontrager.
He is survived by three children, Michelle (Peter Ismert) Bontrager and Ethan Bontrager, both of Denver, Colorado and Garth (Laurie White) Bontrager of Loveland, Colorado; two grandchildren, Eli and Maya Bontrager; and a brother, Rex Bontrager.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Lily (Levine) Bontrager, and a brother, Glenn Bontrager.
A Bethany Christian High School graduate, Mr. Bontrager worked as a “long haul” truck driver.
A private graveside service will take place at Olive West Cemetery.
