Darwin D. Getz

Darwin D. Getz, 90, of Bristol, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at home.

He was born July 7, 1932 in Scott to Kenneth C. and Orpha (Miller) Getz.

On March 12, 1954 he married Echo Lape in Elkhart.

She survives along with a son, Mike Getz of Goshen; three grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Getz, Matt (Hayley) Getz, and Angie (Jason) Powers; and six great grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Hawkins; two brothers and two sisters.

A member of Little Pine Church of the Brethren, Mr. Getz retired from Lochmondy Motors as a mechanic.

A prankster, he enjoyed spending time with his family playing games.  His hobbies included farming and hunting.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 12, noon, until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be given to Little Pine Church of the Brethren.
