Darrell Brecht Wilcox, 81, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, August 30, 2014 at Greencroft Healthcare. He was born June 1, 1933 in Port Angeles, Washington to Earl and Emma (Brecht) Wilcox. On January 2, 1969 he married Mary Ann Yoder in Portland, Oregon. She died September 29, 1990. Survivors include nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents; three sisters, Marnie Stratford, Shirley Lance and Dorothea Stone; and two brothers, Cecil and Philip Wilcox. A member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Mr. Wilcox did janitorial work at Greencroft until his retirement in 1990. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 6 p.m., funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Susan Martin, St. Mark's United Methodist Church will officiate. A procession will leave Yoder-Culp Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10 a.m. to go to Violett Cemetery for burial.
