Darrell A. Kauffman, 76, Goshen, died Tuesday, Sept. 21 at his home.

He was born July 24, 1945 in Goshen to Melvin and Betty (Hostetler) Kauffman.

He married Lydia Graber on June 28, 1964 in Goshen.

Along with his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Gina (Scott) Stone of Goshen; a son, Shannon (Lori) Kauffman of Centerville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Zachary, Alexandria, Anna, Caleb, Lucas and Isaac; six great-grandchildren, Colt, Rex, Nia, Teesha, Kayla and Angel; a sister, Linda (Paul) Boyer; and a brother Gerald Kauffman.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Melvin Kauffman and a sister-in-law, Sandy Kauffman.

Darrell graduated from Bethany Christian School in 1963. He was an avid fisherman and woodworker. A faithful Christian, he was the best friend and supporter to his children. He worked as a truck driver for 18 years, later on he was a dispatcher in the transportation industry.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and Thursday, from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Pleasant View Church. Pastor Mark Snyder will officiate.

Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Pleasant View Church Benefit Fund or Bashor Home.
