Darlene also enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music, especially hymns in her later years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by five sisters, Ella, Barbara, Anna, Clara, and Ruby, and four brothers, Sam, Paul, Guy, and Ray.
She is survived by her two sons: John Allen (Sharon Britton) of Sheridan Wyoming, and James Phillip (Ida Kay Schwartz) of Sarasota Florida. John’s daughters are grandchildren, Melanie (Frank Tijerina) of Wawaka, Indiana, Laura (Frank Boerhave) of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Rebecca (Jonathan Puckett) of Goshen, Indiana. James’ sons are grandchildren, James Phillip II (Linsee Pratt) and Marc (Kelly Hawkins) both of Sarasota, Florida. Darlene will also be missed by 10 great-grandchildren.
