Darlene D. Bailey Darlene D. Bailey, 64, of Goshen, died Wednesday night, June 28, 2006, at Goshen General Hospital.  She had been ill since March of this year.   She was born April 21, 1942, in Goshen, to Harlan and Maxine (Price) Ditmars.  On September 28, 1960, in Goshen, she married Phillip Bailey.  He survives.   A lifelong Goshen resident, Mrs. Bailey was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.  She graduated from Goshen High School in 1960 and Southwestern Michigan College, Dowagiac, Michigan in 1987.  She loved to garden and her flowers.   Mrs. Bailey was a beautician for 15 years and then worked with her husband in his business, Bailey’s General Hauling and Excavating.  She also worked as an aide at Greencroft Healthcare and then as a nurse for five years at Oaklawn, Goshen and Elkhart General Hospitals.   She is survived by her husband, Phillips; her mother, Maxine Ditmars; a daughter, Reva (Bobby) Belmore of Methuen, Massachusetts; two sons, Tom (Beth) Bailey of Columbus, Indiana, and Tracey (Rosemary Bailey of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and 12 grandchildren.  Also surviving  is a sister, Delores (Ed) Wakeland of Goshen; and two brothers, Darien (Karen) Ditmars of Middlebury, Indiana and Dennis (Irene) Ditmars of Manchester, Missouri.   She was preceded in death by her father, Harlan Ditmars.   Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 30 and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, July 1 at the funeral home.   A 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2006, funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Tim Terrell of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church of Goshen, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be given to the Goshen Park Department for Tommy’s Kid Castle or Fibromyalgia.
