Darla J. Jackson

Darla J. Jackson, 74, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born February 12, 1949 in Goshen to Wilfred F. and Ilah I. (Darr) Binkley. They preceded her in death.

In July 1968 she married Eugene D. Jackson. He died May 24, 2020.

Survivors include two daughters, Laura Jackson, and Lisa (Troy) Lehr, both of Goshen; six grandchildren, Collin (Breanna Bloom) Gruntman, Cameron Gruntman, Cara (Chris) Miller, Lauren (Josh) Stephens, Alec (Libby Brown) Lehr and Olivia (Alex Martinez) Lehr; and one great grandchild expected in February.

She is also survived by a brother, Bill (Jeanne) Binkley of Goshen, and a sister, Nita (Ed) Jones, also of Goshen.

A 1967 Goshen High School graduate, Darla worked at various occupations over the years. Her main focus and attention were always on her family and grandchildren, including her nieces and nephews that she treated as her own children and grandchildren.

According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. No other services are planned.
