Danny L. Hanshew

Danny L. Hanshew, 78 of Goshen, died Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Elkhart General Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born April 4, 1945 in Goshen to Lawrence and Ruth (Chrispyn) Hanshew. They preceded him in death.

He married Grace Pence July 3, 1993 in Shipshewana. She died April 14, 2022.

Survivors include a daughter, Ronda Fisel, and a son, Bradley Hanshew, both of Goshen; two grandchildren, Mason and Chance; and three siblings, Rose Hanshew Martin of Shipshewana, Richard Hanshew of Syracuse, and Kenneth (Ruby) Hanshew of Decatur, Illinois.

Mr. Hanshew served in the Air Force and worked in the iron foundry industry at Daltons in Warsaw for 10 years.

Danny enjoyed being with people and playing games. He attended Maple City Chapel.

Visitation will be Friday, July 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, followed by a 7 p.m. funeral service. Pastor Gary Miller, Maple City Chapel will officiate.

Cremation will take place following the service.
