Danny Lawrence Hackney

Danny Lawrence Hackney, 69, of Goshen, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Courtyard Healthcare.

He was born May 20, 1951 in Grundy, Virginia, to Lawrence and Martha Fay (Fields) Hackney.

Danny is survived by a daughter, Sherry (Todd) Hill of Goshen; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sisters, Nell (Bill) Stevens of Oregon, Sharon Hunt of Kentucky, Martha Fields, Shirley Ray and Debbie Shelton all of Virginia; and brothers Bill Hackney and Rick Fields all of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother Lawrence (Lois) Hackney; mother, Martha Fay Hackney and sisters, Della Fielder and Geraldine Hackney.

Mr. Hackney attended New Paris Missionary Church.

Private services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be given to Shriner’s Children Hospital.
