Daniel W. Miller, 69, of Middlebury, died Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born March 10, 1949 in Goshen to Monroe and Sylvia (Kauffman) Miller.
On October 22, 1970 he married Marsha Hostetler in Hawaii.
She survives along with two daughters, Tessa Pfafman of Urbana, Illinois and Stacy (Rodney) Shields of Granger; seven grandchildren, Haley, Robby, Jade, Morgan, Mia, Sylvia and Andie; and five siblings, Sharon (Dean) Pettifor of Goshen, Carol (Steve) Hostetler of Shipshewana, Jeannie (Del) Penner of Germany, Steve (Lila) Miller of Arizona and Carl (Linda) Miller of Milford.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dave Miller.
Dan served with the US Army in Vietnam. He was a 37 year member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church. To his children, grandchildren, and those who loved him, he was known as a creative, super-hero genius who could solve any problem.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Friday, Sept. 28, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A memorial service with military honors will be Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.
