Dallas E. Fox, 81, of New Paris, died Wednesday, March 15, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born March 16, 1935 in Milford to Elmer LeRoy and Pearle (Slabaugh) Fox.
On August 29, 1959 he married Mary Louise Sheets at Bethany Church of the Brethren.
She survives along with three children, Debra Patterson of Milford, Monica (Ernie) Wagler of New Paris and Scott (Michele) Fox of Warsaw; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney Fox; a son-in-law, Thomas Patterson; a sister, Esther Berkey; and three brothers, Delbert, Dewey and Robert Fox.
Dallas was a 1953 graduate of Milford High School where he played the trombone and was a member of the Future Farmers of America. Following graduation he served in the U.S. Air Force from December, 1953 until October, 1957.
He worked at Rock Masonry for 33 years before owning and operating A-OK Pools for 34 years. He was a lifelong member of Bethany Church of the Brethren where he enjoyed singing in quartets. He also held membership with the Bricklayer Union; Indiana Lakeland Girl Scouts; and the New Paris Chamber of Commerce.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Monday, March 20, 2017 at Bethany Church of the Brethren, 19003 U.S. 6, New Paris. Pastor Tim Sollenberger Morphew will officiate.
Burial will follow at Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee.
