Dallas Daniel Cuthbert

Dallas D. Cuthbert, 84, of Goshen, died Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Valley View Health Care Center.

He was born November 14, 1935 in Goshen to Floyd and Leone (Klopfenstein) Cuthbert.

On September 14, 1958 he married Ruth A. Warner in New Knoxville, Ohio.  She died January 1, 2015.

Survivors include three children, Carolyn D. Magee of Middlebury, Kathleen D. Emmans and Keith D. Cuthbert, both of Goshen; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a brother, David (Melony) Cuthbert of Middlebury.

He was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren.

A lifetime area resident, Mr. Cuthbert served four years with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  A retired owner operator truck driver, driving for Transport America and he previously owned D&R Sporting Goods.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A memorial service, with military honors, will begin at 4 p.m.  Rev. Carl Adams will officiate.

Burial will be at a later date in Violett Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Elkhart County Humane Society.
