Dale L. Yoder, 91, of Goshen, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born March 1, 1929 in Goshen to Allen S. and Sophia (Ummel) Yoder.
On October 8, 1950 he married Norma A. Phillips in Bristol. She died July 17, 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Dale A. (Jennifer) Yoder and Todd W. (Joan) Yoder, both of Goshen; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a special friend, Eleanor Carter of Midland, Ontario, Canada.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; daughters, Judith and Brenda Yoder; and 10 siblings, Esther Gibson, Lucille Larimer, Ruth Liechty, Paul, Joe, Tom, Harry, Leonard, Billy and Al Yoder, Jr.
Mr. Yoder was founder of Yoder Strawberry Patch and raised potatoes on his farm. He drove school bus for 43 years, serving both Northridge and Concord schools.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 2021, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Donna Mast of Silverwood Mennonite Church, where Mr. Yoder was a member, will officiate at the 3 p.m. memorial service. Burial will be at a later date at Rock Run Cemetery, Goshen.
