Goshen – Dale S. Sleppy, 63, died Monday, July 19, at his daughter’s home of natural causes.
He was born May 26, 1958 in Goshen to Richard D. and Jane E. (Myers) Sleppy. They preceded him in death.
Survivors include two children, Elizabeth “Liz” Sleppy and Richard Sleppy, both of Goshen; two grandchildren, Jackson Rivera and Laikyn Seymour; a sister, Jill (Larry) Martin, Goshen; and two brothers, Jaye (Cynthia) Sleppy, Shipshewana and Mark (Lisa) Sleppy, Marysville, Washington.
He was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Amanda Mae and Abigail Mae.
A 1976 Goshen High School graduate, Dale most recently worked as a teacher at Bashor Children’s Home. He was a member of the Goshen Moose Lodge and V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Dale enjoyed sports and was active in youth soccer leagues. He also had worked at Gateway Cellar Winery, Back Alley Brewery, and owned and operated his own barber shop, Dale’s Place of Hair Design.
Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory, Goshen.
Services will be Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 388 Johnston St., Goshen.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
